Shimla the capital of H.P. was earlier known as a village called Shyamla. It was first visited by Captain Kennedy. With the passage of time, it has grown as a good educational center not only for Northern India but even for some foreign countries.

The school is situated at a height of 6500 feet above sea level. Standing on its own land, situated amidst the lush green valley, which has serene atmosphere and pollution free, eco-friendly environment for the physical, mental, social and cultural development of a child.
